Method : Submit fingerprint card to RCMP

Tips：Why is the time gap so large?

If no criminal match is shown, proof of no criminal record can be obtained within 3 days or less.

The certification process can take up to four months if more investigations are required or if criminal suspects are found.

Tips：Mail application will not be accepted; documents applying for certification shall be bound in a way that is not easy to be removed and replaced, such as sealing with fire paint, stamping with seal on the perforation or steel seal.

大多数国家/地区都遵循与上述相同的认证过程。但是，也有一些例外。例如，巴西和俄罗斯护照持有人可以在该国驻中国领事馆申请无犯罪记录证明，不需要回自己国家申请。

Most countries follow the same certification process as above. However, there are some exceptions. For example, Brazilian and Russian passport holders can apply for a no-criminal record certificate at their consulate in China, without having to go back to their own countries to apply.
